Like many others out there I’m a HUGE Wally West fan. When I started reading comics Wally was long established as The Flash. That was it, he was The Fastest man alive and that’s all I needed to know. First off, I’m not interested in writing a review for Marvel’s The Avengers. Mainly because the internet is already flooded with various reviews and articles on how The Avengers beat the bad guys and obliterated box office records. It’s obvious that the world loves The Avengers (myself included) except for apparently 7% of the critics out there according to Rotten Tomatoes. What I am interested in writing about is how DC and Warner Bros. absolutely NEED to follow Marvel’s lead (no matter how much it may pain them) and create a series of their own super hero movies that lead to a Justice League film. Probably not. But is this week’s issue of Justice League International just a coincidence or a fun homage to a time when DC and Marvel had a friendly rivalry? As opposed to today where they have more of an “I’ll cut your heart out with a dull spoon” kind of rivalry. Why a dull spoon, you ask? Why not an ax? Because it’s dull you twit. It’ll hurt more.
